She was 100 percent pregnant apparently.
A teen has mistaken a thermometer for a pregnancy test and it's gone viral.
18-year-old Izaak Torres from Costa Mesa, California, got the fright of his life when his girlfriend Vanessa Marie, sent him a text at 4am with an image of her 1ooF fever accompanied by the message 'Holy f*ck'.
He thought it was a positive pregnancy test and panicked: "How", he wrote."Wtf." "Your on birth control''. "Baby.''
he saw it as you’re 100% pregnant and lmao I’m dead😂😭— robindabank (@k0urtnei07)
"I said 'holy f*ck' because I was so frustrated that it was 4 a.m. and I was dead tired but I didn’t want to go back to sleep until my fever went down some more," Marie told BuzzFeed News .
She sent the photo and then fell asleep. "I didn’t get his response ’til I woke up around 11 a.m. and I just died laughing," she said.
Vanessa shared the hilarious exchange on Twitter and the internet loved it.
Don't try to fix everything. Give young kids a chance to find their own solutions. When you lovingly acknowledge a child's minor frustrations without immediately rushing in to save her, you teach her self-reliance and resilience.
Izaak copped a lot of flack for his naivety, with many saying he's not ready to be a father if he can't tell the difference between a pregnancy test and a thermometre. We've never really thought about it but if you squint a bit thermometers do kind of look similar to pregnancy tests.
Note to selves blokes, note to selves.
