Cardi B wants other mothers to know you can be sexy and be a mom all at the same time.
During an interview with Harper's Bazaar Thursday, the rapper opened up about still showing off her sexy side even after giving birth to daughter Kulture last July.
"I feel like when I'm half-naked and when I twerk, people be like, 'You're a mom now,' and it's like, 'Well, I was doing it before I was a mom, so it's not like there's gonna be a difference,' " she said.
Don't raise a spoiled kid. Keep this thought in mind: Every child is a treasure, but no child is the center of the universe. Teach him accordingly.
She continued, "One day, my daughter's gonna see my body and she's gonna see me twerking and it's like, 'Would it make a difference if I did it after or before her?' It's still out there. I feel like moms who do wanna feel sexy can be. I don't feel like once you become a mom, you supposed to be this nun."
Cardi admitted motherhood has made her change in some ways, however – particularly in terms of her social life, which is currently in flux. In early February, the rapper told reporters that she was "working things out" with estranged husband Offset.
"I just wanna be home all the time. I don't care about going out anymore," she said. "The things that I thought matter, it didn't really matter. I'm just so focused on my kid."
